US War Department stores short-lived encrypted-at-rest text notes identified by random URLs. Messages may be password-protected and may delete automatically based on timers or viewing rules you select.

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Availability, timing of deletion, and delivery of messages are not guaranteed.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use US War Department for illegal activity, harassment, malware distribution, non-consensual intimate imagery, spam, or to transmit content you have no right to share. The operator may suspend access and cooperate with authorities when required by law.

5. Ephemeral data

Messages are intended to be temporary. You understand that deleted messages cannot be retrieved and that backups (if any) are outside the operator’s routine control.
